Angaben aus dem Katalog der arabischen Papyri des Pennsylvania University Museums (Philaldelphia) von Giorgio Levi Della Vida (1886-1967), Arabic Papyri in the University Museum in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), Rom 1981, Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, S. 156-157 (Eintrag Nr. 123): "Inv. E.16264 G. 3rd century A. H./9th century A. D. ? White, this [sic] parchment. Two fragments, belonging to the same copy. Dimensions of fragment a: 5.8 x 6.5 cm; of fragment b: 9.6 x 16.4 cm. Both fragments are inscribed on both faces: parts of four lines appear in a and of seven in b; the ink is brownish, and is well preserved in a, but faded in b. In fragment a a small section of the lower side of a sheet has been preserved. Fragment b is the upper side of a sheet, and the upper part of the outer margin has also been preserved: the inner and lower sides are broken. The size of the original sheets must have been ca. 16 x 20 cm, with approximatively twelve lines to the full page. From the Ellen W. Harrison Collection. a Recto: Kor. 43,63 fīhi - 67 baʿḍu[hum]. Verso: 43,80 [yaḥ]sabūna - 83 yaumahu[mu]. b Recto: Kor. 44,37 qabli[him] - 50 tamtarū[na]. Verso: 45,1-6 ʿalaika. The missing portion between 43,83 and 44,37 probably covered another sheet. The script is smaller and thinner than in the preceding numbers. It so closely resembles the script of no. 5 in the Chicago Collection (The Rise of the North Arabic Script, p. 62 and Plates XI and XII) that one may fairly assume a common origin. Diacritical signs are in the usual shape of small thin strokes; vowel signs seem to have not been used (perhaps a faint red dot on a recto line 4 marks the nunation of yaumaʾiḏin 43,66 [43:67 nach kufischer Zählung]). The verse divisions are marked with a heavy green dot; the five-verse divisions with a gold rosette to which a kind of enlongated stem is attached on top. On b recto line 1 this division occurs after 44,37 of the Cairo edition, which however is 35 according to all other traditional reckonings (see A. Spitaler, Die Verszählung des Koran, p.58)."
