Angaben aus dem Katalog der arabischen Papyri des Pennsylvania University
Museums (Philaldelphia) von Giorgio Levi Della Vida (1886-1967), Arabic Papyri in the University Museum in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), Rom 1981, Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, S. 160 (Eintrag Nr. 129): "Inv. E.
16264 P. 3rd century A. H./9th century A. D. White, thin parchment. 12.9 x 11 cm. A sheet from a small copy, the size of which is almost fully preserved except for the upper side, where the margin and most of the first line are missing. Written on both faces in brownish ink, faded on the recto, nine lines to the page. The inner side is damaged, and some letters have perised through holes. The width of the outer margin is 2.3 cm. From the Ellen W. Harrison Collection. Recto: Kor. 38,60 qālū (line 2) - 62 qālū [sic]. Verso: 38,62 lā - 65 ʾi[nnamā]. The script is similar to that of no. 42 in Moritz's Arabic Paleography but perhaps somewhat younger. Diacritical signs and vowel marks, in the usual shape, are carefully and consistently employed. The nūnation is marked but neither waṣl nor shadda are. The verses are divided by small gold rosettes. A wider nine-petaled one appears at the end of verse 62, which is 60 according to the Baṣran numbering (see A. Spitaler, Die Verszählung des Koran, p. 54)."
