kūfī (Typ D III)
François Déroche schreibt zum Fragment KFQ 8 (Déroche, The Abbasid Tradition, London 1992, S. 80): "29 / Single folio / Mid-9th century AD or later / 14.6x23cm, with 5 lines to the page / Material Parchment; the verso is the hair side / Text area 6.9x14.8cm / Script Style D.III / Accession no. KFQ8 / This folio contains Sūrat Fāṭir (XXXV), verses 22-25. The text is written in dark brown ink, with some diacritical strokes. Red dots indicate the vocalization, and a gold 3.1.2 device marks the end of every verse. The outer margin has been damaged, and the parchment has absorbed ink from the adjoining folios.”
