E. 16264 O. 5th century A.H./11th century A.D. White, thin parchment. 8.7 x 10.6 cm. Written on both faces in brown ink. Lower half of a sheetm the original size of which was ca. 18 x 11. cm. The inner and lower margins, measuring 1.9 and 2.2 cm., are preserved, the outer side is damaged. From the Ellen W. Harrison Collection. Recto: Kor. 3,200 wa-ttaqu - 4,1 minhā. Verso: 4,2
ʾamwālahum (first) - 3 taʿdilū. Late " Kufic " script. Diacritical signs are expressed by short strokes and dots, vowel marks and orthografic signs are in red and of the late, standard form. No dividers are used between verses. On the recto, the title of sūra 4 is enclosed in a rectangular frame consisting of two parallel golden lines; only the outlines of the letters are extant: the colored inside has disappeared."
